Metro Run & Walk values its professional staff and promotes from within when possible.  The store managers all began as sales staff (part time and full time), as did our apparel and footwear buyers.  And, virtually all of our staff began as customers!

 Our employees are all athletes themselves and want to see our customers enjoy the active lifestyle as much as they do.  Members of our staff run, race walk, ski, skate, climb, hike, snowboard, spin, play tennis, ride bides, swim, do yoga and lift weights along with many other activities.

 Full time employees receive fully paid medical insurance, vacation, 401k and profit sharing, and flexible scheduling.    Part timers are eligible for the 401k and profit sharing plans based on a minimum of 1000 hours per year.  Of course, there are fabulous product benefits also.

 Our staff is known for  longevity with the company.  Several staff members have been with us for nine of our 14 years and numerous others over 5 years.  Our customers enjoy seeing the same familiar faces on each visit.
